Meet Anja Pienaar, our team member involved with Equine Assisted Therapeutic Learning and Skills Development for Children, who is a licensed Psycho-Educational and Remedial Specialist (LPES), with work experience in the academic, health and wellness, and personal development fields, with diverse populations in various settings. Her professional and personal experiences have prepared her for working with youth with special needs, integrating her various skill-sets and using an equine assisted learning approach to develop essential skill-sets in children to fulfill their potential in life.
She also facilitates spiritual and personal development workshops for adults who desire to add more meaning to their lives through an equine care-giving program offered at Equistria. Her therapeutic training methods are solution focused with an emphasis on overcoming adverse/traumatic life experiences and attaining well-being and the ability to thrive in life.
